I really like this skirt, the hips are a little fuller than I expected but it allows for ease of movement since there is not a vent/kick-pleat. If you are shorter, you will likely have to hem it, at 5' it falls slightly higher than mid calf. However, it looks like alterations will be very easy with this skirt. The fabric is a nice heavy duty canvas but isn't too heavy that will make it unwearable in the summer. Be aware that the bottom of the waistband is the narrowest part as opposed to the top of the waistband so it ends higher than your natural waist.

This is my favorite Shabby Apple skirt so far! The material is actually structured, whereas the other skirts i have purchased are not lined and very thin. Be true to your waist measurement as the skirt is very high-waisted. I'm 5'7" , and the skirt went past my knees. Only issue: the skirt is structured and past the knees, which means I can't take long enough strides in my heels. I will definitely be getting a small slit put in the back, or have a tiny hem done. Overall, i love it though!

I orginally purchased skirt in a small then returned it for XS. I have chicken legs that dont fill skirts but my stomach has a little cushion on it. The XS small is perfect for my stomach and fits well for my legs as well. I cant wait to wear it! Stacia Momany freetobestacialee.blogspot.com
