The dress is made from french blue stretch cotton poplin with multi-colored stripes. To care for this dress, machine wash cold, delicate cycly. Lay dress flat to dry.

Diane 4/20/2011	This dress is so pretty. I am not quite 5'6" and not super leggy... Athletic build (read: not much in the hip or chest dept.) and this dress makes me fell like I have a shape. It is so flatering AND comfortable. Play around with the tie and you will find a way to get rid of the "weird thing" that happens to the front. I love this dress. Tana 10/7/2010	I was a little wary of ordering this dress because of the other comments here, but I was so in love with it that I couldn't help myself--and I'm so glad I did! I can see what the previous reviewer meant about the pink stripe, but it is almost unnoticeable when wearing the dress, and I think I'm going to sew the faux wrap flap in place, and possibly add a lining to the skirt so it doesn't stick to my legs (I'm more static-y than most people), but it's not a construction issue, just a preference. Construction and design are both great and I love the way I look in this dress--I got so many compliments when I wore it! I have some friends who've ordered other dresses and in general are very pleased, though now and then there is a sizing issue, but Shabby Apple absorbs the cost of exchange, so overall I think you'll have a good experience. 10 of 12 people found this comment helpful Was this comment helpful? yes no

Kelly 4/28/2011	This dress is so cute in the picture but is a challenge when trying to get the sash just right. I tried several times to get it tied and positioned but it continued to leave a small opening in the front of the dress.
